What is a lift's working height?

How many scaffold frames do I need?
Frames = bays along the wall × levels up. Each section takes its frames and cross braces, plus jacks or casters at the base and platforms where people work. The advisor confirms each frame's height in the quote.
Why does a scaffold end up out of plumb?
Almost always because the first lift wasn't leveled. Level it with the screw jacks before going up a second level: an error at the bottom grows with every frame.
Do you need a harness on a lift?
On a boom lift, always, with the harness tied off to the basket. On a scissor lift, rails closed and both feet on the platform. Also follow your site's safety rules.
