What equipment to have ready for a hurricane or flood
In the Caribbean and Central America, hurricanes and floods are part of the calendar. Whoever has the equipment ready responds in hours; whoever sources it after, in weeks. These are the four deployable lines worth having.
response fronts
low-draw light
flood dewatering
Lighting: operate and rescue at night
An LED light tower with a diesel engine covers the work front all night without refueling. It's the first thing a response team asks for: no light, no safe rescue or reconstruction.
Dewatering: get the water out fast
A 4" pump empties trenches, basements and waterlogged areas, and handles the solid-laden water typical of a flood. Flow rules: the bigger the bore, the faster you drain.
Cutting, demolition and reconstruction
- Cutting and a hydraulic breaker to clear debris and collapsed structures.
- Compaction to repair roads, embankments and damaged pads.
- A dumper to clear debris and move relief supplies where a truck can't reach.
Takeaway
Keep four lines ready: LED lighting, 4" dewatering, cutting/demolition and compaction to rebuild. We'll build the response package for your area — reach out before the season hits.
Frequently asked
Do you sell to governments and emergency agencies?
Yes. We serve institutional procurement and tenders for civil protection, municipalities and agencies, with brand backing, parts and factory warranty.
How fast does the equipment deploy?
In-stock equipment deploys immediately. The key is having it before the emergency: that's why we recommend planning the package ahead of time.
