In the meantime, follow the step-by-step guide.

  1. 01

    Set on firm, level ground

Park clear of traffic on even ground. Lower and lock the outriggers before touching the mast.

  2. 02

    Aim the lamps before raising

Aim the floodlights toward the work front with the mast down: it's safer and more precise.

  3. 03

Start the engine, switch on lights

Start the diesel, let it stabilize and switch the LED lamps on one by one.

  4. 04

    Raise and rotate the mast

Raise the telescopic mast in low wind and rotate to cover the area. Lock the rotation.

  5. 05

Cover shadows with a second tower

On a big front, cross the light of two towers to kill dark spots. Size how many you need.

Do this

  • Lower the mast whenever wind picks up or you move it.
  • Outriggers down and locked before raising.
  • Check fuel to cover the full night shift.

Avoid this

  • Don't raise the mast in high wind or near power lines.
  • Don't move it with the mast up.
  • Don't aim lights at traffic: it blinds drivers.

Safety

  • Safe clearance from overhead power lines.
  • Gloves and glasses for engine maintenance.
  • Ground it (earth connection) per the manual.
