The vibrating screed levels and compacts the pour's surface in one pass, leaving it ready for floating.

- 01
Set the level
Set your screed rails or level references. The screed blade works against them.
- 02
Pick the blade
Short blade (1.2 m) for tight areas and edges; long (3 m) for wide slabs.
- 03
Start vibration and pull evenly
On fresh concrete, pull the screed at a steady speed. Vibration settles it and the blade levels it.
- 04
Keep a roll of concrete ahead
Keep a small roll of mix ahead of the blade so it fills the lows as you advance.
- 05
Second pass if needed
If lows remain, fill by hand and re-screed. Then floating/troweling takes over.
Do this
- Steady pull speed: no jerking, no stalling.
- Clean the blade between pours.
- Coordinate with the crew feeding concrete.
Avoid this
- Don't over-vibrate one spot: you sink the aggregate.
- Don't run it without a level reference and expect flat.
- Don't leave it running, resting on concrete, without moving.
Safety
- Rubber boots, gloves and glasses.
- Straight-back posture when pulling; use your legs.
- Switch off vibration before lifting it.

What mixer capacity do I need?
By sacks per batch: 1.5 sacks for small crews and remodels; 2 sacks for continuous work. Available in gasoline and electric.
Gasoline or electric vibrator?
Gasoline for off-grid or high-mobility work; electric for interiors and fine vibration. Quick hose coupling for the element you're pouring.
Walk-behind or ride-on trowel?
Walk-behind (SQ36) for medium slabs and edges; ride-on (twin) for large surfaces and output. Both deliver a mirror finish.
