How to use the concrete vibrator

Vibration drives out trapped air and makes concrete dense and free of honeycombing. Good vibration is the line between a sound structure and a porous one.

Coming soon

In the meantime, follow the step-by-step guide.

  1. 01

    Right head

Pick the head diameter for the element: small for columns and walls, large for slabs and footings.

  2. 02

    Insert vertical and fast

Plunge the head vertically and fast, ~15 cm into the layer below to knit the lifts together.

  3. 03

    Hold 5–15 seconds per point

Vibrate until paste rises and large bubbles stop. Longer than that segregates the aggregate.

  4. 04

    Withdraw slowly

Pull the head out slowly so the hole closes itself. Yank it and you leave an air channel.

  5. 05

    Even, close spacing

Repeat on an even grid, spacing points ~1.5× the action radius. Leave no un-vibrated zones.

Do this

  • Always insert vertically, on systematic points.
  • Use the vibrator to densify, not to move concrete around.
  • On walls, vibrate lift by lift as you pour.

Avoid this

  • Don't drag concrete with the head: you segregate the aggregate.
  • Don't over-vibrate: water and paste rise, aggregate sinks.
  • Don't ride the rebar or formwork continuously with the head.

Safety

  • Rubber gloves and boots; you're in fresh concrete.
  • Mind the cable (electric) or hot exhaust (gasoline).
  • Don't force the hose into sharp bends.

Applications

What jobs this machine is built for.

  • Slabs and floor decks
  • Columns and walls (vibration)
  • Floor finishing (troweling)
  • On-site concrete mixing
  • Concrete paving

Frequently asked

What mixer capacity do I need?

By sacks per batch: 1.5 sacks for small crews and remodels; 2 sacks for continuous work. Available in gasoline and electric.

Gasoline or electric vibrator?

Gasoline for off-grid or high-mobility work; electric for interiors and fine vibration. Quick hose coupling for the element you're pouring.

Walk-behind or ride-on trowel?

Walk-behind (SQ36) for medium slabs and edges; ride-on (twin) for large surfaces and output. Both deliver a mirror finish.

Warranty, parts and quote?

6-month warranty, parts in stock and local after-sales. Quote via form or WhatsApp, same-day reply.
